We are working towards making this site the one stop shop for everything beer related. At the moment, us regulars are adding beers we have personal experiece with, but we will be expanding this.

We are also looking at comparision charts, allowing quick selection of beer to meet your beer drinking criteria. Listing by type is also on the cards, to allow fellow beer drinkers to find a beer that is similar to their favourite amber ale.

The only page that is locked, is this one. Simply due to it being the front page, we need to keep it presentable 100% of the time. If you have any suggestions though, please let me know (whip@beerftw.com), and I will gladly give you editing access.

All other pages are open for editing, as well as creating new pages. We will appreciate all constructive additions and edits made - exactly why this is in wiki format.

====10/06 - Buller Trip #1 ====
The first trip up to Buller for the season - Check the Link down the bottom in Heretic's Random Garbage for details.

====07/06 - New forums - re-released!====
New forums are up! Direct link is [http://beerftw.com/forums beerftw.com/forums].

All wiki accounts creating before today have been copied over to the forums - same username and password. If you have any issues logging in, please send me an email (whip@beerft.com), and I will sort it out for you.

As always, any suggestions for the forums, please let us know.

====01/06 - Unscheduled downtime====
Unfortunately, the web host decided it would be a good idea to change our IP address without informing me. It's taken them 48 hours to inform me of this, so we now have to wait another 48 hours for full DNS propagation.

My apologies for this downtime, but as you can see, we are now back up.

I'm now looking at mirroring this site onto another host, which will allow me to quickly switch over incase of future issues.

We have a new logo, thanks to Dee. As always, suggestions for improvements always welcome.

====22/05 - default skin====
As you can tell, the look of the site has changed over the past 24 hours. I have created a new skin, and made it default. It is a work in progress though, and we welcome all suggestions.

If you would like to revert to the default skin, you will need to login (create an account if needed), then change the skin under "my preferences", found at the top of the page.

This beer is often the full strength beer provided at functions, such as 21st birthday's, weddings, work functions, etc.

Rumour has it, "Crownie's" are taken from the same vats as [[vb|Victoria Bitter]]. The difference is, the high quality beer at the top is bottled as Crown Lager, while the rest is bottled as VB.
