The name translates to "pale ale from Fucking", Fucking being an Austrian town. The beer is brewed in Germany though.
Originally brewed by Brauerei Waldhaus, but moved to Brauerei Hartmannsdorf in 2013.
There was some controversy with the European OHIM trade marks agency, due to the name, but the beer was given approval for sale in March 2010.
